4-5 ounce ahi tuna portions (about 1-inch thick)
8 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 tablespoons grapeseed or olive oil
Place sesame seeds on a plate. Pat dry tuna steaks with a paper towel to remove excess water.
Press tuna in sesame seeds, coating the tuna evenly.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Place the tuna in the pan and sear for about 1-2 minutes per side or to the desired level of doneness before setting aside for a few minutes and slicing.
